Spence R Kass is a principal of Kass & Associates, an architecture and Design Firm based in Philadelphia and founded in 1990. Mr. Kass has 23 years of experience encompassing a wide range of design disciplines including architecture, interior design, and urban design.

With acute attention to user's needs and constraints of budget, Kass & Associates specializes in finding creative solutions that maximize the potential of existing buildings, unique situations, and urban contexts. Mr. Kass holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Components of his Master's Thesis in Urban Design at Cornell University were incorporated in a 1989 master plan for the New Jersey State Capital in Trenton.

Mr. Kass is a fellow of the American Academy in Rome and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Philadelphia University.

As a member of NCARB, Mr. Kass is licensed to practice architecture in Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and Florida.
